History

Over the last 6 decades, the Carlson family has been around planning and developing boats, vehicles and machines for use on land and water.

Already in the 50’s Erik Carlson (1915-1992) designed towing boats. His son Kaj Carlson started repairing boat  engines as a teenager. Following his fathers footsteps, he continued with industrial design and development, mainly focusing on wheeled and tracked vehicles.

After a long lasting successful business in designing and producing forest machines, Kaj Carlson sold his business in 1984. His two sons Tore and Mats Carlson established the family business Hydrolink Oy Ab in 1992.

Hydrolink Oy Ab has developed tracked vehicles for military and civilian use as well as for ski resorts until 2008, when the snow groomer division was sold to Kässbohrer Geländefahrzeuge AG. At this point, Hydrolink and the Carlson family went back to its roots and developed a professional business for boating people including service, maintenance, winter storage, sales and import of boat brands such as Princess Yachts, BRABUS Marine, Axopar Boats and Williams Jet Tenders.

With a team of experienced people in the industry and a long history in service, sales and maintenance, Hydrolink is today one of Finland's largest and most professional companies in the boating business.

From 2014 Hydrolink Oy Ab is also the main partner designing and producing G-Force boats for Greenbay Marine Ltd.
